My name is Matthew Davine and I am the owner of Davine Construction, LLC. I 've been involved in the building of new construction homes, whole home remodels, and additions for various companies, prior to starting my company, developing my knowledge from site plans to the finish work of various types of homes.
Completing additions and whole house remodels ranging from $200k to $700k, on homes that were sometimes over 100 years old. This type of construction sharpened my skills as a craftsman and problem solver due to the age of these homes and the changing of then current building codes. Remodeling and renovation projects can be the best classroom exercise that a future general contractor can receive hands-on.
Learning to manage subcontractors, building inspections, the constantly changing cost of building supplies, and most importantly learning how to listen to the client?s needs and have their ideas transformed into their project.
Over the years of being in the field the one underlying issue or problem that seemed to always be raised was the communication between the client and the contractor, or the availability of the contractor once the project was underway. Remember, I have been the guy (foreman) dealing directly with the clients for a good number of years. Personal attention is what these people asked for, and isn?t it what a person should receive when investing financially and emotionally into their home?
To summarize, when you contract with Davine Construction, you are getting a local family who whole-heartedly values his client relationships and respects their wants and needs. Every project is handled with the highest degree of care and professionalism as if it were my own.
